Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

During the course of 34-weeks, groups will move through the biblical stories of Creation to the New Jerusalem.  This study is a prerequisite for all others in this series.






Disciple: Under The Tree of Life

Tuesdays, Beginning September 14

2:15 - 4:30 p.m. in MB306

This 32-week course concentrates on the writings in the Old Testament - Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, and Daniel. New Testament Scriptures include the Gospel of John; 1, 2, and 3 John; James; Jude; and Revelation.  Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study is a prerequisite.






Christian Believer

In this 30-week course, the focus is on the doctrines of the Christian church. It emphasizes the relationship of worship, belief, and daily life. The beliefs of the Christian community, taught within the Christian community, equip the Christian community for living faithfully and for passing on the faith entrusted to it.  Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study is a prerequisite.

Jesus in the Gospels

Led by Pat Chandler

9:00 - 11:30 a.m. in MB305

In this 30-week course, the group will study the name, the place, and the people who encounter the Jesus who is both hard to ignore and hard to control - an attractive, commanding morally compelling figure as portrayed in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study is a prerequisite.
