CenterPeace for Children • Wednesdays • 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. CenterPeace for Children is an exciting approach to Missions, Music, and Worship education. Through small and large group activities children learn about missionaries from around the world, are involved in hands-on mission projects, experience playing a variety of musical instruments, sing of God's love, and learn about the importance of worship. Children are divided into the following age groups: Pre-kindergarten through kindergarten, first through third grades, and fourth through sixth grades.
Centerpeace for Youth • Wednesdays • 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. This creative arts learning hour provides a variety of courses during a six-to-eight week period. Offerings include drama, guitar, puppets, creative movement, signing, and video. Each year the youth creative arts groups provide leadership for two Wednesday night worship experiences, as well as involvement in local mission projects and mission trips.
CenterPeace for Adults • Wednesdays January 7 through April 22, 2009 • 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Recovering Your Life - Everyday Spirituality and the 12 Step Movement Many of us want to recover a sense of wholeness and to discover practical ways of living our faith. The "Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous" have deep, though sometimes unacknowledged, roots in the Christian faith. They offer guidance for living a spiritually-centered and emotionally-healthy life. Join Guy Sayles for an exploration of how the Twelve Steps can help you recover the life you were meant to live. |
