The Young Adult Ministry at First Baptist Church is designed to provide the tools for a whole and balanced life. Through study, activities, and missions, young adults are challenged to think for themselves as they continue to grow in their faith.

 Recently, members of the Polaris Bible study group worked on two houses simultaneously over the course of a long weekend. The group worked on various assignments including framing, sheathing, setting trusses, decking and siding. This project was sponsored by the Flint River Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Albany, Georgia.
Bible Study 9:45 a.m. ~ SC230-Sherman Center This is a time to examine the scripture, discover its relevant truth and value, and to develop practices that will make us more Christ-like. In May & June we are going through a study on Barbara Brown's book An Altar in the World.
Polaris - Sunday Night Time Discipleship 6:00 p.m. ~ Sherman Center ~ 6:00 p.m. Meal & Fellowship Polaris is an opportunity for young adults to meet and discuss current topics. Currently we will be kicking-off The Gathering studies for Fall-Winter. Then resume the "Dream, Think, Be, Do" Series after. Following the meeting we usually go to a local restaurant to continue our discussions.
Girls Night Out ~ Every 3rd Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
