The Young Adult Ministry at First Baptist Church is designed to provide the tools for a whole and balanced life. Through study, activities, and missions, young adults are challenged to think for themselves as they continue to grow in their faith.

Mission Update: Polaris works with Habitat for Humanity in Albany, GA: On October 10-14, 2008, the members of the Polaris Bible study group worked on two houses simultaneously over the course of a long weekend. The group worked on various assignments including framing, sheathing, setting trusses, decking and siding. This project was sponsored by the Flint River Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Albany, Georgia.
Study 9:45 a.m. ~ SC240-Sherman Center This is a time to examine the scripture, discover its relevant truth and value, and to develop practices that will make us more Christ-like.
Sunday Polaris Night Time Discipleship 6:00 p.m. ~ SC240-Sherman Center ~ 6:00 p.m. Study ~ 7:00 p.m. Meal & Fellowship Polaris is an opportunity for young adults to meet and discuss current topics such as the Language of Love, Sexuality and Dating, Ethics, Relationships, and Stress through Bible study, book reviews, and seminars. Following the meeting we usually go to a local restaurant to continue the discussions.
Girls Night Out ~ Every 3rd Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
