Children's Music Ministry
Children's choirs are part of CenterPeace for Children, held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for children from age 3 through 6th grade. CenterPeace for Children utilizes small and large group activities to teach children by involving them in hands-on mission projects and teaching them to play a variety of musical instrumets, sing of God's love, and learn about the importance of Worship.

This is a great time for kids and parents to learn about the CenterPeace for Children programs and choirs, and will be the beginning to a great year of music and mission for all children! Catch the Spirit!
Music For Threes
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m., Room CB219
This music experience is open to 3 year-olds and is a part of the mid-week CenterPeace programming for children. Introduction to musical experience centers around singing games, moving, and playing instruments.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m., CB304
This choir is open to 4 and 5-year olds and is a part of the mid-week CenterPeace programming for children. Singing, moving, listening, creating and playing instruments provide "hands on" learning experiences. This choir begins to prepare children for a lifetime of musical and worship expression.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m., Crocker Auditorium
This choir is open to 1st-6th graders and is a part of the mid-week CenterPeace programming for children. Children are introduced to choral literature and small group activities incorporating musical games, hymnology, Orff instruments, Choir chimes, Kodaly methods, and creative movement. The choir sings in worship services and seasonal concerts in the life of the church.
Children's Orff Ensemble
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, Orff Room
This 12-member ensemble is open to 5th and 6th graders by invitation. The ensemble explores challenging instrumental selections written especially for Orff Instruments. They lead in both worship services and seasonal concerts in the life of the church.
