Rev. Tommy Bratton, Jr.
Minister of Christian Formation
Tommy Bratton came to FBCA in December 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Furman University in Religion and a Master's of Theological Studies from Candler School of Theology at Emory University focusing in Christian education and ethics. Tommy offers leadership to these committees: Christian Education, Christian Life, Communications, Evangelism, Media Center, and Welcome.

Rev. Roy Dobyns
Minister with Students
Roy Dobyns joined the FBCA staff in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carson Newman College in Human Services and a Masters in Religious Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Roy offers guidance in Youth and Family Ministry, College Ministry and the following committees: Youth and Recreation.

Rev. Eddie Morgan
Minister of Missions, Outreach and Pastoral Care
Eddie Morgan joined the FBCA staff in 1983. He holds a BA in Religious Education from Furman University, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill.  Eddie offers leadership to our counseling ministry and to young adult ministry. He also works with the Nominating and Scholarship committees.

Dr. Guy Sayles

Pastor

Guy Sayles has served as pastor of FBCA since the fall of 2001.  He has degrees from Georgia Southern University (B.A., History), Southern Seminary (M.Div) and Candler School of Theology of Emory University (D.Min). His work focuses on leading the church to discern and pursue its mission, preaching, teaching and providing pastoral care.

Rev. Clark Sorrells

Minister of Music
C
lark Sorrells joined the FBCA staff in 1997. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Carson Newman College and a Master of Divinity in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Clark offers leadership to the music ministry for all ages, worship planning, and the following committees: Music, Worship Arts, Baptism and Lord's Supper.

Rev. Karen Sorrells
Associate Minister of Music
Karen joined the FBCA staff in 2002. She received a BA in Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters of Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and Kodaly Certification from the Kodaly Institute of Texas at the University of North Texas in Denton. Karen offers leadership to all ages in the Music Ministry.
